The principle of filament feeding spheroidization process

The cored wire for nodularization, which is composed of various additives (nodulizer, inoculant) that need to be added to the molten iron, is continuously injected into the ladle by a special wire feeder for casting, and nodularization and inoculation are carried out in a relatively sealed nodularization station. Under the action of high-temperature molten iron, the sheath of the cored wire melts, and the alloying elements come into contact with the molten iron to undergo the nodularization and inoculation process, thereby achieving the purposes of desulfurization, nodularization, inoculation and composition adjustment.
