DWX-5BF special wire feeding machine for casting
The special wire feeder for casting, also known as the spheroidizing wire feeder, continuously injects cored wire containing alloying elements into the bottom of the molten iron ladle through the wire feeder. Due to the action of the high-temperature molten iron, the sheath of the cored wire is melted, and the alloying elements then come into contact with the molten iron, initiating the spheroidizing process.
Advantages and Characteristics of Spheroidizing Wire Feeding Process:
Adopting the wire feeding spheroidizing process, gray cast iron and nodular cast iron can be converted arbitrarily without changing the ladle. Since the alloy addition amount is small, the slag amount is small; moreover, it is dry slag, which is easy to clean and skim, and the molten iron is relatively clean. Using the special wire feeder for casting for desulfurization, spheroidization and inoculation treatment can eliminate the interference of other factors, and can keep the residual magnesium content of the treated molten iron within a small fluctuation range of the same order of magnitude, thereby stabilizing the product quality.
